Stan Wesley's travel survival tips PART 2

I've been getting a lot of comments, emails and even telephone calls about my Travel Tips that I posted the last week. Some people have condemned my tips by asking me how could I post such embarrassing stuff like that for all to see.

I just got from a run, and I saw something that reminded me of something special in my life. It read....If you don't laugh at yourself, someone else will!

I'll be first one to admit, I was not laughing while I was in the back of plane peeing into the world's smallest urinal. It was a few minutes after, once I smuggled the goods off the plane, I broke down in laughter. My mom was the first one I told, she laughed so hard, she almost had to go pee in the back of a plane if she was in one. That's the moment where I knew I was sitting on a possible teachable moment.

Being able to laugh at yourself is such a healing moment, it proves that you are only human and mistakes and mishaps happen.

GET CONTROL OF YOUR LIFE SO YOU CAN LOSE IT

People tend to want to gain control of the external things in their lives, neglecting to take a serious look at them and stop settling for mediocrity. By taking inventory on what makes you incredible and what you lack, you will be begin to live with the attitude of not caring what others think. You will live by your own rules and you will do things that you never would have thought you could ever do. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying you will always succeed, but you won't live with regrets that so many of our people live with. There are so many of our people that say to themselves, "I should have done that," or "Oh boy, only if I was your age, I would do that over again." So don't put yourself in that position, get control of your life so you can lose it. Once you do that, you will be free.

I value your comments; let me know what you think.
How have you gained control of your life?
