Youth Business Quest

For the 2nd year in a row I have been asked to facilitate a introduction to business workshop with Wakenagun Community Futures Development Corporation. http://www.wakenagun.ca/

Rather than being too heavy on business, I wanted to create a interactive seminar that is not only business but also personal awareness.

Seminar 1 - Timmins, ON

The size of the group was nice and cozy, which made for a highly interactive seminar with lots of laughter and sharing of ideas. We had young people from Wahgoshig attend. They are currently engaged in the True Colours section of the workshop.
By the way, I'm pointing for a dramatic picture effect.
Seminar 2 - Moose Factory

This was awesome, we had 16 participants. It was so great, I forgot to take pictures. The participants were into the program, we spent alot of time presenting business ideas. I'm from Moose Factory, so I had alot of expectations on the youth. I was so happy that they not only met my expectations, they exceeded them.

Seminar 3 - Kashechewan

It started off really slow.

Then the youth poured in, thanks to 3 young ladies from grade 6 and Introduction to Business class from the highschool.
Since there some building issues with the elementary school, the highschool is playing double duty. The younger ones have it during the day and the highschool students start school at 3pm and go until 9pm. The kids don't mind it, since they get to sleep in everyday but the teachers find it tiring working a night shift.
Here is Ariel working on her opening soon business poster.
3 brothers working on their ideas.

Mr. Reuben checking up on Desta's Poster.

Started off a little slow, but it turned out to be a great day. Way to go KASH youth.
